Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FitBuddy AI mobile application ("App") operated by FitBuddy AI ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FitBuddy AI. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

2. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at fitbuddyai@proton.me if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the App or its servers
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription or payment mechanisms

4. Health Disclaimer

FitBuddy AI is a general wellness tool for informational and motivational purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Calorie and nutrition estimates are approximations based on AI analysis and may not be accurate.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, exercise routine, or pain management plan. Do not disregard professional medical advice based on information from this App.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

FitBuddy AI offers a free tier and a Pro subscription (monthly and annual plans).

• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play and managed by RevenueCat
• A 7-day free trial is offered for new subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• To cancel, go to Google Play Store → Subscriptions → FitBuddy AI → Cancel
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

6. Free Tier Limitations

Free tier users are limited to 10 AI coach messages per 24-hour period and have access to one coach (Buddy). Additional coaches, unlimited messages, and other Pro features require a subscription.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, code, and design in FitBuddy AI is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

Content you enter (meal descriptions, pain notes, chat messages) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process it to provide the App's services.

8. Ads

Free tier users may see advertisements served by Google AdMob. Pro subscribers see no ads. We do not control the content of third-party ads.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account). Deletion permanently removes all your data.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to health outcomes, data loss, or financial loss.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
